Bristol Career Change Crew is about working together to move you forward into work you love. Through fun, collaborative and action-focussed workshops, you'll identify what you want out of your career and life, and take positive steps to move forward.
We run six week career change workshops. You’ll use life design techniques to kick-start your career change, with support from a like-minded community. you'll use design thinking tools for career change, with techniques such as creative brainstorming, user analysis and prototyping. You’ll gain clarity of direction, scope out possibilities and come away with a toolkit for making progress and an action plan of next steps.

WEEK 1: GROUNDING AND CONNECTING
Examine your life and career to date to gain more clarity on what’s working and what’s not. We'll identify some of the narratives that might be keeping you stuck.
WEEK 2: FINDING THE SPARK
What energises and engages you? You’ll identify some of the ideas, interests and directions that you would like to move towards in your new career.
WEEK 3: CREATING A LIFE AND CAREER VISION
Building on your strengths and interests, you’ll come up with visions of how you could evolve your life and career, and explore these with other members of the crew.
WEEKS 4&5: DESIGNING POSSIBILITIES
We move to the practical, using collaborative group brainstorming to come up with ways that you can test out your vision in the real world.
WEEK 6: STAYING SET FOR THE COURSE AHEAD
You’ll put a plan in place to maintain the momentum that you’ve developed during the course to help you make tangible change.
WHAT WILL SESSIONS BE LIKE?
Career Change Crew surrounds you with a supportive community to turbo-charge your progress in making change. In each session, you’ll share ideas and collaborate with the rest of the crew, using techniques such as creative brainstorming, user analysis and prototyping. You’ll gain new perspectives, insights and connections, and be part of a community that will hold you accountable.
Together with your crew, you’ll clarify what is important to you, and craft experiments to enable you to move forwards
WHO IS IT FOR?
If you want to explore how to make a change in your career - whatever stage of life you're at - then you’d be a good fit as a crew member. Changing career can be hard on your own, so surrounding yourself with a group of people who “get it” is a powerful boost.
